Banned but no reason

Hi,

I have noticed since an upgrade to 3.8 that some users are showing up as banned.

Some new and even users that have posted before are banned. Looking in the "view banned users" the "banned by" and "ban reason" is N/A

Im a touch lost on this one, any ideas?
