Twitter, Linked In, Facebook, MySpace...

I visit alot of vB forums and I am seeing alot of "follow us on Twitter", "check out my profile on LinkedIn", etc etc.

Do you use any of these SN sites to promote your own site/forum?

If you have a vB design/coding/etc business of some sort, do you use any of these to promote your business? If so, how much business to you get, if any, from them?

I use twitter and facebook every day
Linkedin about once a week

I wouldn't say I use any solely to promote my sites
More of a way to stay connected

I was running a musician based site so for a while there I was using myspace to both promote our artists and drive more artists to the site.

if you just want references to your site, good, you have to make your site indexed more often...

i hate the logic that is "go read me elsewhere and come back here"...

I use bebo, facebook and twitter. I use facebook connect and the twitterfeed.com to send news to twitter

i have facebook, myspace, twitter, linkedin, and a few others....i intend to promote my sites with them but i just get busy

I use Facebook and Linkedin. Facebook is more for fun, LinkedIn is for business networking.

I have links to my site on both, but do not actively promote it.
