Different forum descriptions for index and forumdisplay pages?

Hi. I submitted the following post at vbulletin dot com before I was recommended here:

I was browsing the "vBulletin options" in my admin control panel to see if forum descriptions can be displayed on the topics list page. I found that they can. However, I am wondering if I can add text to the forum description displayed on the topics list (forumdisplay) page, while not adding it to the index page as well. For example, one of the forums listed on my index page is "Audiophiles", a forum for discussion of music. The description given for that forum is this:

Musical traipses. Aural ecstasy. Melodious shambles. iPods. VLC. Music, and related subjects.

I want to add a quotation taken from a composer demonstrating the recent use of the term "audiophiles", but this would make the description for the Audiophiles forum longer than I want on the index page. However, the length would not be an issue to me on the topics list (forumdisplay) page.

Anyone here know what can be done to accomplish this?
