Hi. I've seen in some forums that users are given buttons or badges below. How do I do that? Is it custom added or something to do with permissions?

Also is there any way to make it automated? For example, every time a user hits 100+ posts, they get a free button.

I'm not sure if he is referring to the ranks though. Like say someone has a PS3 and they want a PS3 badge. Or if they are a PC Gamer and have a PS3, and they want both badges. Would that fall under ranks as well for that user to add that badge themselves?

In the example you posted, I am pretty sure they used Ranks. If you are talking about users giving themselves badges, perhaps they are using Profile Fields and having users select which game console they have and then based on that spitting out a badge in the profile. I'm not sure if there may be a mod to do this - search in the Add-ons forums under Profile Enhancements or Post Enhancements (or whatever they are called).
