Tricks section...is this possible?

Hi, so I am building a site that is based on a sport that has a lot of tricks associated with it (similar to skateboarding). Is there a way for me to catalog all the tricks and have little pictures of them with descriptions? The way that I want to set it up is if someone posts a new trick in a certain thread, the site will automatically add this new trick to the master list of tricks. Is there a way to maybe do this within a forum thread? Where the first post of the thread is updated anytime someone adds a new trick to the thread? I hope this description makes sense, it's kind of hard to explain. Thanks for the help guys...
