I have PHPDesigner and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on setting up VBulletin with it.

The only thing that needs to be setup is a MySQL server. Then just create/install vBulletin into a database.

I guess I should have said that I'm looking to run vbulletin locally on my pc in a development environment. PHPDesigner has a built in webserver. It also has the option where you can install your own such as Xampp. I'm trying to figure out a good set up so I can execute a vb page from PHPDesigner in order to debug it.

Exactly, I am aware of what phpDesigner is. You need to setup a database for vBulletin to use, and to do that, you need to have a MySQL server running.

It is not a VB3 engine, just a parsed copy!
