Check admincp>vboptions>Cookies and HTTP Header Options>session timeout
You probably need to bump this value up. I think the default is 900 seconds. I set mine to 9000 and seems to have solved the problem. |

If users keep getting logged out, make sure the following is true as the cookie timeout is not the reason they are getting logged out.
1. The user has to check the "remember me box" before logging in. 2. corrupt cookies <-- user needs to delete their cookies from their browser & restart it. 3. the cookie domain is wrong in the vb options use .urdomain.com, this will cause issues when going to www.urdomain.com or going to urdomain.com, your user wil lshow as logged out when going to www.urdomain.com |

As long as ServerName & ServerAlias is set right for the vhost, you shouldn't have to redirect any url's.'
If people are setting their forum urls in the vbulletin options --> forum url to their domain without the www on it, that would be the cause of not getting www added to their url. Adding URL rewrites to apache, requires more per directory work for apache and it has a hard enough time running on its own as it is. |
