is there a way i can prevent users from updating their main profile info
i want to prevent them from updating the following fields: 1) user id 2) password 3) email thanks |

They can not change their userid.
And why would they not be allowed to have a new password? |

because thats the way it needs to be set up. quite frankly thats none of your concern ( but we have a single sign on set up). can you tell me how to do it or not?

Hello all,
We are implementing single sign on to our forums via our dealer portal. To do this, we are exporting user id's and passwords from our portal and hardmapping them to our forums. As such, we wish to prevent password changes. I've read the above posts, but I have no idea how to remove the editable fields nor all the templates that might be involved. I know it is a lot to ask, but if someone could take the time to tell me how to do this and which templates I'll need to change, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Angela |
