Since vb.org has a decent PR, will having a link to my site in my sig help even though my site is not vb/computer/coding related?

Links in signatures are not very valuable for Google.

But nevertheless, they all count!

Although vb.org's main page has a high PR and so do many of it's internal threads, the posts that you posts on won't have a high PR so it won't pass any link juice to your site.

Plus their will probably be 200+ other links on the page so the juice that does get passed to your site will be minimal.

So as Max says, not really valuable...BUT...they all count.
