Hey guys,
I want to remove the additional information field you see when you try to register to a vBulletin website. Thanks, EntranaRS |

I don't know what additional information field you are talking about. Do you have an image of it?

All of those? The vBulletin version is not default, you added it, so you can remove it. You can turn off the referrals in vboptions > registration options > user referrer > No. The time zone and email options though, I'm not too sure about. You may want to check the template and see if you can just edit them out.
To find the template to modify, do this - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code. Sometimes the template is the one mentioned at the very top of the page source. |

Ok, thank you. That was just a screen-shot of the vb.com website's register page. Before I do this will it change anything for my users. Will they have the default options anyways?

Turning off referrals will mean referrals aren't being saved. As for the two default options, I would *guess* that if they don't set it and you don't put a hidden field in the form to set it, that they would get the default. But, I really don't know. Try it on your test site and see (you should do that anyway before putting it on a live site).
