It doesn't matter what I try, I can't get it. But it seems there are other sites that have it. http://www.theadminzone.com/forums/index.php, www.mtgsalvation.com... How do they do it? I don't know, but I want to make my banner full width, and in the end I get so fed up with people complaining about scrolling that I set it back to 800px. ![]() |

How do they do it? One of my favorite TV shows.
![]() Look at https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=137415 Basically the banner is divided into 3 parts. Two fixed and one fluid. The fluid one needed to repeat the image. |

Oh... Then I take it to make my banner (which doesn't have any sort of blank space that could be effectively fluidified) fit the rest of the forum width, that has to be fixed-width and less than 800px... Rats. I may need to revise the banner a little. Thanks though, that info is still very helpful.

That's what I did on my 318t.org site.
I use a table with 2 cells. The left one has my banner. The right is filled in black and fluid. Almost seamless when the width is changed. |
