Add /me to Forums?

Can this be done by default or is it a mod here on these forums?

I would like something like that on my board.

I know a couple mods (like shoutboxes, etc) have it, but I would like to be able to do it in a post.

UK, you know on a shoutbox how you type "/me *action*"

Say I write "/me slaps UK" then it will automatically write "Winterworks slaps UK" or "* Winterworks slaps UK"

He wants one of those, but for the forum, and not a shoutbox.

I don't know what to tell you bud, I've never seen a modification for it.

Thanks mike for the explanation, I've never heard of a mod like that, It might be something that we can make as a bbcode, I may look into that later

On topic: You could download a shoutbox.. And look through the coding? You could make your own modification. Just find where it makes the /me.

It sounds like you could just do a string replacement of /me in a post with the $post[username], no?
