Hello everybody
![]() I am in need of a simple favor/graphics request. I'm sure that any of you with any graphics skills or experiences can accomplish this easily -- perhaps even in your sleep. So here is the default text part of my logo, for the theme I am using: ![]() Simply put, I am wanting that to be re-created but with the text, "The Linnie Blog". "The" being white, and "Linnie Blog" being in that green color, and a bit larger... just as you currently see it. Thanks in advance for any assistance ![]() Regards, Nick |

What's the font used in this logo? It looks like times new roman font? Also, do you want the grey splodge in the logo? to me, it looks dreadful and would be better if it was left out. If the reason why you included the grey splodge was to highlight the white text there are ways to highlight the white text without the splodgy grey cloud being present.
Here's a quick attempt (preview Below) I'm sure someone else will come and design a better one. ![]() ![]() |

I agree that the grey splodge does look pretty ugly -- but only when it's by itself.
When it's compiled with the rest of the header, it comes out very nicely and gives a nice tint of darkness around the text. Here's the link to the blog so you can see: http://lineolatedparakeet.net/blog/ Thanks for your attempts... I will see how they look ![]() --------------- Added [DATE]1229274921[/DATE] at [TIME]1229274921[/TIME] --------------- Shelley, I've decided to use your first one. It looks great. Thanks so much. Now I just have to figure out why it's being cut-off... |

Yeah, you asked for the text to be bigger so I increased the canvas size which would have meant you would have had to make a minor code change. I inserted a white stroke because I thought you were going to apply the logo onto a white background.
I can remove this for you and upload the logo here without the white stroke which i think looks awful against your dark background. Give me a couple of minutes and I'll modify then upload a new one for you to apply. Edit: Try this one >> which isn't actually here but below posted as an attachment. If you want the psd let me know and i will post this for you also. |

Shelley, I like it much better without the white stroke. It looks very nice on the site.
I certainly wouldn't mind having the psd because I just realized that the theme included the font in the package. So if I have the psd, I can change the font to what it originally was. Thanks again for all your help. Regards, Nick |

Here's the PSD, I've had to archive the .Psd because vbulletin.org won't allow psd attachments so you'll need to extract it first.
