Web sites look well weird in IE8 Beta

And trying to use Quick reply on here is out of the question because the box has a scrollbar and it seems to only want to type the width of the scrollbar.

Anyone else noticed problems with IE8 and dont say use FF cause that is crap also.

i second Josh in here...

btw, FF is perfect... in both OS btw... if you can't visit this site with FF, maybe it's time you downgrade to Windows 98...

fixed is a compatible button to make it work with `OLDER SITES` so all sorted

FF aint perfect - i dont use it so it cant be perfect can it

I have tried it but tbh i just simple dont like it at all.Long live IE

safari aint that bad.It works fine on my iphone.I would never use it on my home PC but it does the job quite well for what it is intended for.

Actually IE 8 renders pages faster then Firefox 3.x and it has better css 3 support then firefox 3.x. The only advantage Firefox have is currently addons. Thats all , On all other aspects IE 8 is far better browser then ff

FF have a great advantage over IE8... it work with Linux, Mac OS, etc...

I don't have any stats to hand, but that's certainly not true. And to the original poster, IE8 is in beta. Of course there will be issues, and I suspect some of them are related to hard-coded JS references (by vB devs) to specific IE versions.
