I paid 160$ for my vBulletin hosting. It said it would last forever for that 1 payment, but I'd have to renew it every year by paying an additional 30$?

It says my license is about to expire, January 2009. If I don't pay, can I still use my vBulletin? Do I only have to pay 30$?

You can still use it, you just wont be able to download updates

You dont have to pay the $30 if you dont want to. You'll be able to download security patches for whichever branch is the last stable release at the time your license ends.

You'll still have access to vBulletin.org as well
