Add Select to Custom BB Code

I'd like to add a "Select" link to our Code BB Code, where clicking it would select everything in the Code box, with the ability to have it work with multiple Code boxes in the same post.

Is there anything like that?

I am also thinking of making a new BB Code (so it says something different than "Code") that would also incorporate that functionality.

Can anyone help? I've searched, but haven't found anything (maybe my search skills need improvement??).
