Problem in images folder

Hi 1st idk if it's right section for this or nah but am confused i tried everything i made and still problem in da forum

i'm wanna change icons for threads so i was uploading it in forum/images/icons

but when i wanna to add them to forum it's said wrong root by the way i add from one week the new system for captcha beacuse old system i mean { Gd } system don't show letters in image so people was can't register in my site

this is da msg what now show when am wanna add icons from admin cp after i'm uploaded them from FTP in them root
