Hi all,
I have a website that relies on user logins. When someone logs in to the website I'd like that user to be logged on to vBulletin as well to avoid redundancy. I'm good about using the vBulletin database for all logins instead of my own. I can easily get to the vBulleting db from my other site. However, vBulletin encrypts the password using mhash + salt(?) to store and validate the password. I use something different, but I'd like to use vBulletin's. You could say that I'd like to pop the login intact from vBulletin and drop it into my webpages. There's a lot going on with password validation. I need some advice and guidance to do what I want to do. (I'll pay for it if need be.) Can anyone help? Many thanks in advance, Jeffrey Fass ![]() |
