Hey everyone. I currently switched out my domain name on my vbulletin database. Of course, everything ties to the old domain still.
I have gone through and changed out all I could through vbulletin admin first, to the point where I could not log in anymore. I believe I now need to go through the files and change everything out. I haven't touched VB in a while, so if anyone could help me as to which files I need to change, I would be extremely grateful. Thanks, vhjiezzi |

All you need to change is the URL in vBuletin Settings (under Site Details) and cookie domain (if you have it set).
Also make sure you update your site details in the vBulletin Members' Area. |

I am about to do the same thing as the TC, but I have a question. I own my dedicated server and have my forums database on the WebHost panel (not the specific domain panel). Since my config file is pointing to "localhost", and both domains share the same IP (being on the same dedi), I don't have to move or edit anything in the database right?

You shouldn't have to edit the database either way. You should never have to edit the database.
