Hello. I would like to be responsive to our community members by setting up many colour schemes for the forums that are based on their recommendations, but won't go behind basic color changes in the Main CSS template.
My question is: what is the best method to design multiple Main CSS schemes, and allow members to select the one that suites them best, without having to maintain many template sets during vB upgrades, MOD installation, common template modification, etc. Can Replacement Variables be used for that and how? Any other ideas and methods? Thank you ![]() --------------- Added [DATE]1214989633[/DATE] at [TIME]1214989633[/TIME] --------------- Sorry for your trouble, everyone. After a careful and interesting reading of vB's style inheritance methodology - everything simply falls to place. |
