TOTAL posts per day?

I know if you look at a users profile it shows you their average posts per day, but what if i want to see the forums average posts per day, AND how many posts the forum made for any 24 hour period that i want? Like if i wanted to see how many posts were made yesterday, or maybe the day before, i can just look on the admin panel somewhere and see it, as well as the average posts per day that the forum makes. This would be a great way of seeing when the forum would get to a certain post milestone, like 10,000 posts, etc. If you were at 8k posts, and you saw that your forum was making an average of 200 posts per day, then it would take 10 days to get to 10k posts.

Get what i mean? If theres already something like this, point the way. Ive tried the search feature but nothing came up. This sounds easy to do, so if anyone wants to do it, im sure it would be a popular mod!
