Hey everyone, I'm a bit a newb with this stuff, so take it easy =) I did a search and couldnt find what I'm looking for.
My forum was majorly screwed up, I was unable to log in.. it was because of zoints login system, and the folks at zoints couldnt help me. When i tried to upgrade VB, i also had errors. I ended up doing a fresh install of VB, with a new database.. So my forum has 0 posts right now. I have a backup sql file with all of my posts, that I'd like to import if at all possible. The name of the new database has the same name as the old database, so is there some way to jus simply overwrite it? thanks for any info. |

You could overwrite it, however you will have to run the install/upgrade.php script again since the upgrade process makes necessary changes to the database.
