Basically emails won't send such as when a user requests for passwords... it never sends.
The user has told me that they waited nearly one day and has not yet come. Edit: I asked my host again and they have now sorted it. |

Send a test email to yourself to see if you receive it. |

To find out the real issue of why this particular user does not receive the email, you will need to check your email log on the server, if this isnt a dedicated server / vps, your host will have to check the log file to see why it failed, so submit a ticket to your host and provide them the email the user is using on your forum and ask them to tell you why it fails to get sent.

Could this be to do with the Smtp host being local host? Quote:

Where does it say not safe to open? In your inbox?

Inbox... rarely sometimes it sends it to the "junk box" and ALWAYS says "unsafe to open".
Basically the message gets blocked because it contains passwords. |

It's blocked because the email server has deemed it "unsafe" - this is usually due to no SPF and/or DomainKeys record set up.

So can this be done by creating "smtp"? and then in vbulletin options changing "stmp host" to the smtp created?

An SPF record is basically a TXT DNS record. That's what you need to add. DomainKeys, on the other hand, is a bit more complicated. Changing to an SMTP host should have no effect.
