Questions from new admin about prep.

Hi all,

I was wondering if I can get advice from some veteran admins what kinds of things did you do to your forums in preparation to opening it to the public?

I've had somebody design a skin (sevenskins.com...he does excellent work!), and I've placed some ranks and titles in.

I haven't really edited the usergroups...leaving them as the default ones. I figure I can play with those later.

Just wondering if you do a workflow? Do you choose some moderators FIRST from trusted friends?

Any tips you can provide to make my "grand opening" a bit smoother would be greatly appreciated!
