How to change "contact us" email format

Hi, I've got a problem that gmail is rewriting the email address of anybody who contacts me to be my own instead of theirs

I know I can fix it by upgrading to 3.7 but I've got a lot of mods / templates I need to sort out before I upgrade + don't have time to do it at the moment.

Does anybody know how I can quickly change the format of any emails sent using this form so that they contain the senders email address?

I am getting a ton of emails right now I need to reply to but I'm unable to do so
