We are currently running vBulletin 3.68 with MySQL 5.0.37-standard and PHP Version 5.2.5
Some, but not all of users are having problems open attachments (zip files). Here were some of our tests. - Found an original version of the file that was reported as corrupted. (by users) - Verified that the zip file would open properly. - Created a thread, and uploaded the file. - Downloaded the file, and tried to open it. - It failed to open. It was also 380 bytes smaller than original file - Change the vBulletin option to store to disk instead of within the MySQL database - Downloaded the file and tried to open it again. - It failed again. - Open SSH session to the server, copied the file from the server to my PC with WinSCP - It was the same size as the original file, and confirmed that it opened properly. So the site is not having any problems uploading the files, but downloading the files via vBulletin are failing. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. --------------- Added [DATE]1204498070[/DATE] at [TIME]1204498070[/TIME] --------------- No need for reply - we have found the solution. When the ISP setup the new server, he did not add a MIME to Apache's httpd.conf file for the .zip extension. We added this entry and restarting Apache, and it resolved the problem. |
