Hi,

I'd like to add a userid to a specific secondary usergroup using a php script.

I found some code related to setting usersgroups in class_subscriptions.php, but I am unsure of how much of that code I need to set.

Is there any predefined functions for that?

I believe there are a few articles regarding the vBulletin Datamanagers. That is what you need to look at.
