Remember me on external form

Hey,

I have our site split up into the main site and the forum but the login / session is all done through vB. I have for the longest time had a login form on the main page that works perfectly except recently I have noticed that the "remember me" function does not seam to work. It works perfectly if you login on the forum pages login form but not on the main pages login form. The HTML that I am using is exactly this:

Does anyone see anything obvious that would be causing this abnormality?
