How can I add a button in the editor_toolbar

I already knoy how to put a new button on the editor toolbar, what I really wnat to know is wher can I put the code to this button.

what I need to do does not work with BBcode, I need: with a click on the botton a popup with an image is displayed and the user put some information on the image, and then the image get putted on the forum...

Para los que hablan español, lo que realmente necesito es saber en donde pongo el codigo que va asociado a ese boton.
