Hello,
I've added a new bbcode in vBulletin (3.6.8 Patch Level 2) which loads some content into the post via AJAX. That content also includes a form. When you visit the thread as a guest user, the form renders and submits fine. When you are authenticated, vBulletin strips the <form> and </form> tags, making it unusable. Any hints on how to correct this behaviour? Thanks. |

I would be very carefull with adding <forms> to vBulletin posts. vBulletin itself also uses a form and AFAIK you can not nest forms. That is probably why it works for guests but not for members (1 of the forms used is the moderation select box in each post).

The inlinemod is a pain when it comes to trying add extra forms, the only reasonable way I found of getting around this was to use vBulletin's Pop-up menus like the ones on "Thread Tools" and "Search this thread" e.t.c. That way you can position your form at the bottom of the page and use the Pop-up menu to display it where you need to.
