Adding a login?? Can you help!

I've got a problem... thats why im here

hope you guys can help... well here it gos...

i want to add parts of vbulletin into my website! ive got a template i made and wanted to add the vbulletin login and register to it... so i starting with the login and i googled for ages and found this login code!

it works great the fact it logs in says Thanks for logging in Boxerman etc.. then it take me back to the homepage with-out my user information such as new posts, 0 pms etc... i was wondering how do i get this onto my website? so i want the login which ive got, so when a person logins in it brings them back to the home page but shows all user information like the top right of the forum does...Welcome, Boxerman you last visited: etc...
