Hi,i m getting a database error message...here is the error...

Database error in vBulletin :

mysql_connect(): Too many connections
/var/www/html/forums/includes/class_core.php on line 274

Can someone please help me...?

Yes you need to edit my.cnf typically located in /etc/my.cnf and edit this setting and restart mysql, if this isnt a dedicated/vps server you will need to ask your host to modify this setting.

max_connections=500 --> max_connections=800
