I have to lock vBulletin down from non registered people from access the postings. I would like a login page before access forum. Is there such a thing?
I also posted this question on vbulletin.com (sorry, I just do not know where the PHP programmers are located) |

Go into the ACP
Forums & Moderators ->Forum Permissions [Edit] Unregistered / Not Logged In Edit Forum Permissions For Usergroup: Unregistered / Not Logged In If you want guests to see only the thread title set the permissions as First three options:
This will enable a guest to see the forum and the thread titles, however clicking the thread title will redirect to the log in page. They will not be able to see the thread content until they log in. To stop guests from seeing the forum at all set all permissions to no additionally select Forum Manager click the forum you wish to restrict and set Show Private Forum to no Best to experiment until you have the desired effect for guests. |
