My header wom't align properly with my forum using IE7 but is perfect with firefox.

also my marquee text in the welcome section has shrunk using IE7

anyone know how to fix this?

Looks the same to me in FF & IE7 browser, maybe some screen shots from you can help better to help you.

That is most likely a issue with forum dimensions and the image being 989px wide.

Desktop dimensions also play a factor.

I would try a new logo, that isnt so big, with the use a of a background filler image filling in the rest of the header, spanning 100%
