I just opened a fairly recent forum, Politics On Fire and am wondering how people think I should improve it.
I particularly like my quote guys in the right corner

Tidy layout, clean, uncluttered which is always a good start for a new forum. I quickly hunted around and checked to see if I could locate any stock images (vbulletin) and am glad to say I didn't find any. Well, 1 - the im_icons which have been saturated I would suggest that you change these and possibly opt for a custom set and it just so happens that I have submitted a set that will break the dominant blue out a little and visually look a little better than the current set you have Instant Messenger Icons. they come in 3 sizes both in white and black matte so they should suit your style if you opt to use them.

Speaking of blue, I find that the style is dominated by blue and I can only suggest that you break some of the blue with another colour (maybe in the way of changing some of the link colours) to an orange, maybe?.

I would also re-colour the thead gradient and go with a light to medium grey so this breaks the prominent blue out more.

Overall there's not to much I can criticize about the style. it's very clean and uncluttered, integration on many of the areas have been implemented nicely. Just think about breaking the blue out a little and I think this will enhance the style even more. :up:
