Show latest created threads in column or footer?

I noticed Floris posted this nifty how to here:http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=158887

Where you can show the latest most active threads.

However, is there anyway we can tweak it to show the last ten created threads instead? (As opposed to latest 10 threads that have been posted in?).

Or does anyone know of a plug-in that does it?
