Is it possible to reassign all posts attributed to username "Andy" to username "Sandy" and still keep Andy's account alive, just without any posts?

2. In which template can I rearrange the reply buttons placement?

1. It is possible but I wouldn't recommend doing it...

You can use a query or an Admin interface (such as phpmyadmin) if you choose and alter the post and thread tables wherever "Andy"s userid is used, and replace that userid with "Sandy"s... You will then need to rebuild your postcounts and thread listings etc etc to make it all run properly...

2. Which reply buttons? The "Quote"/"MultiQuote"/"Quick Reply" buttons or the "Post Reply" buttons situated at the top and bottom of each page of the thread?

The post reply and edit buttons that are in the bottom right of the posts above...

What they would like is to move the Quote next to the Post Reply and leave Edit up there where it is.

Well that would be a template edit, either postbit or postbit_legacy depending on which style you use...

Easiest would be to simply rename the current user account and create a new one with the name Andy.
