You should backup your database on a regular basis anyway. I do suggest, if possible, that you uninstall any modifications. This will eliminate any exploits except those found in vBulletin, which is none at the moment.

am i able to just disable the hacks for now or do i have to un-install completely?

If you go into the product manager in the ACP you can disable the products one by one without uninstalling them.

yes this is what i have done but my question was can a hacker get in still if the hacks just disabled and not deleted cheers.

Well, it depends, if the hack has PHP files, they may or may not take in account if the product is disabled.

Have you checked your installed hacks against those known to have exploits?

It really depends on which mods you have installed, if there's any issues with them, and how securely they're coded.

it seems now all my hacks are up to date.
i was also told the hacker placed one of my thread url's into his program and made it so when ever anyone clicks that thread he gets some sort of info on that user. i honestly dont think he is getting in through my hacks. |
