This is a 2 part question.
How do I create an invisible forum that is not viewable to registered users? How do I restrict a user so that they can only access the invisible forum (which of course must be viewable to them, but not other registered users)? The purpose of what I am trying to do is basically create a small private forum for users who disrupt the general forums. This way they can talk to other users who share a common interest (creating problems). Any suggestions are appreciated. |

To set a forum invisible: AdminCP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager -> Select a Forum -> Set "Forum is Active" to "No". This will prevent the Forum from showing up on the board, but is still accessible if the URL to it is known.
To restrict access based on Usergroups, you can change the Forum Permissions through the AdminCP's Forums & Moderators menu. |

You want to place bad members in a fishbowl, without giving the joy to other members of looking at the fish?

Instead of repeating myself, I'll just post the link to this exact same thread at vb.com
