Can someone tell me what could be causing this error? Or What does it mean?
Code:
mysql_connect() [<a href='function.mysql-connect'>function.mysql-connect</a>]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (11) /home/ljmsnju/public_html/forums/includes/class_core.php on line 273 |

This error means either:
1. The info in your config.php file is wrong (in which case your forums wouldn't work at all), or 2. MySQL crashed, it's not running or it can't find the socket. You need to contact your host about this. Here is more info on this error: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/Ca...to_server.html |

Thanks I sent them a message!
Could that also cause my search and quicklinks in the navbar not to work? I tried disabling all he hacks and replace the present navbar code with the default and still no go. Can you tell me where to start looking or what could be causing this? |

Solution:
I eventually had to go through all of my tables and fixed it. |
