Default Making forums show in different places...

I am currently modding my website, and i would like to know if it is possible to separate the forums as i would like on my forums page. For example: i would like to move my General forum under my Discussion forum using XHTML or PHP... All on the same page though, i do not intend to go out of the index.php frame.

Also, if there is a hack that can do this, please inform me.

Thanks

Okay, can you be a bit clearer? If you mean just have your General forum in under your discussion forum on the forums list, that could be done with ordering and adding the forums into the right categories. But can you exactly explain what you intend to do? Because I am 100% sure it's possible whatever way.

Sorry for not making it clear enough, what i was asking earlier was for a way to do the example, but using only HTML (like going into a template, or using some php...). This means that the Forums and Moderators section in the admin cp is not what i am looking for.

To make it easier to understand, lets just say that you have forum A above forum B, how can i move forum A under forum B, with JUST HTML or PHP (and yes, i know all the functions in the admin cp.)

I have a rough idea about what kind of code you would need, but since I really am behind in PHP, I'll leave it to the next user to answer. The code would probably check if a forum id is some number and position it accordingly.

Well, please post back in this thread if you figure out how to code it. And is there anyone else who might be able to help?

It seems like you want to do things the hard way.

you can have forums

A
-B
--C
---D
----E

what ever you want in the forum manager ?

No, i don't mean it like that... What I'm trying to do is add certain forums into an AJAX tab script (which is on forumhome), and putting the forums under the corresponding tabs (Example: All "General" forums go under the "General" tab").

Wow, that's not what i was talking about but it's pretty amazing . If you want me to relate it to that to make it easier, lets say i wanted to take the "subforums" and place them ANYWHERE i want, and i mean like put them under a completely different forum, like for example, instead of under the Software section, i would make the + link appear in the Planning and Brainstorming section, and it would still be a link to the Software section subforums.

Also, if you already know where it is, please link me to that amazing hack
