Hey,
I'm truly sorry if this may be a newbie question, but I used the Search feature and couldn't find anything on it. On an old forum I visited, it occured to me that I was able to see the index with all forums and stuff without logging in. Now, when I browse to my site, the complete index is hidden (if I'm logged out). I'd have to register if I wouldn't already be a member. My question is this: What function do I have to enable/disable to make my index unhidden/public to allow my guests to take a look at the boards? Thanks in advance. |

You have to edit the forum permissions for unregistered/logged out.

for any hidden forums.
However to check the Permissions for each usergroup: ACP - Usergroups - Usergroup Manager. Then click on whatever Usergroup you need to manage. Remember! If you have any hidden forums check those permissions for those forums. Since the permissions for that Usergroup will apply to all Forums. |
