Missing Animated Star Rank

Ok I have been searching for this gif:

With a transparent BG, as I would like to recolor the star blue or perhaps different colors based upon my choosing. I've searched all over the place it seems and can find...no star, and not only that, but no damn tutorial on how to make one.

I swear I have seen that same star on someone's forum board before a few years back, I've contacted them and of course they have not responded but I have not seen it resurface so I'm guessing the worst.

Where is that star?

Was there ever a Mod made for it?

If so, can I please be linked to it, as I want to use that specific type of star, just without the black BG, need transparent, and I need to alter the color of the star.

Can anyone help?

Are you talking the 6 month star and so on? That is part of the steel series, it comes with those skins, not as a mod.

I have absolutely no idea what the Steel series is, and would love to be linked to it, if it's that star.

Secondly the link works fine, I tested it while logged out and logged in.

I can't tell.

The image you've shown isn't animated, so I don't know if it's the right star or not and my first guess is I doubt it.

Finally after a day it gives me remote linking of images doesn't work.

So what you need to do to see the star is copy the link and put it into a new browser window, then you'll see the star I'm talking about.

yep, as stated previously the link needs to be copied and put into a new browser window.

I just tried it on IE and on Firefox, it works on both browsers.

Anyone seen that star hack around?
