I can but I thought I should have special capabilities since it is my site. I want to post a welcome announcement on my site. Should I be titled site owner, site ceo, etc. This stuff is all new to me.
Thanks, SOM ![]() |

you have to create a user account for yourself first, either by registerring or through your AdminCP. then you can make yourself a Super Admin with all the bells and whistles. i'm sure there will an "advisor" in here soon to further explain the procedure if needed.

When you installed vBulletin you were asked to create an Administrator account, that's all you need to do. Announcements can be set either in the specific forum you'd like one displayed or in the AdminCP Announcements Manager.
I suggest you read the vBulletin Online Documentation as it will more than likely answer any questions you have. http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/ |
