Is there any file/plugin/mod that lets you schedule a database backup?

you could run a cron job in cpanel that would do this.. or there is DB backup in VB under maintenance

I really don't no crap about informatica stuff so I don't have a clue what a cron job is

I know of the backup function in maintenance, but the thing is I tend to forget and I am looking for a fixed backup each week at a fixed time at night.

There have too many slip ups during clean ups lately to risk anything
