All users deleted. I totally forgot about a script that deleted users based on activity that was in one of my crons on a hack I was developing...
Luckily I have a backup, it is rather old though. but only the users were deleted so it won't be too bad.

*Sorry this is posted in the completely wrong forum... please move it to vbulletin or programming discussion* (Sorry, I guess I was a little over-excited/shocked when I posted this)

Its been fixed now... lost somewhere between 900-1100 members that registered after December 1st. I suppose most of them were spam registrations though, so good to be rid of them.
