VB vars displaying Unregistered for username and 0 for userid

Hey, im having some more issues with vb intergration on non vb pages.

I believe I have successfully included all the files, there are no errors when I cant the directory, there are no errors when requiring global.php and functions_user.php, and it changes back to the correct directory afterwards (I checked using getcwd()

The only problem is when I echo the username and userid it just shows 0.

I checked to see where the cookies were saved and
path to save cookie is set to "/"
and
cookie domain is set to "(blank)"

In the chdir() I have added a trailing /

Now I designed this on a linux server, and have moved it to a windows server, which has confused me a little, but it seems to be working correct except for the fact it doesnt recognize im logged in. Im guessing its still a problem with the cookie now being found, but I have no idea.

This is a small script i wrote to test so i know when the variables are working correctly
