Hello all,
I'm creating a special usergroup for students and I need to prevent them from receiving emails from other members. I do not see anything at the usergroup level to prevent this (which would be ideal). I see for an individual user I can set their option to receive emails to "no", but then I can logon as a student, go into my control panel and turn that option back on. How do I prevent a student from doing that? Ideally I'd like to restrict just that option, but if I can't do that, can I prevent the student/user from using the control panel? Brian |

You can comment out or delete any real ability to send emails via editing templates.
If youa re going to do that you might as wel disable the pm system too as well as collecting IM info |

Zach,
Thanks for the reply, I've figured out how to disable the PMs, so that is fine. But if I edit templates, then that disables all emails for everyone, I was hoping to just disable it for students. Is there any easy way to find out which template you are looking at when you are on a screen in your webbrowser? Brian |
