How do i change the Vbulletin current version number.

I just want to change it from 3.6.4 to 3.6.5

I applied the patch earlier to my 3.6.4 board, but i didnt want to upgrade the whole board for 1 php file, when i could patch in ten seconds.

So, i just want to change the number, not get rid of the copyright or anything.

You should never manually change the version number, as that would break any future upgrades.

If you patch your board, then it is not upgraded to a new version.

The patch only prevent the exploit. But there are some bug fixed too such as Safari Cookies, Internet Explorer 7 Compatability, Infractions Bug etc. etc. in the new version. So I prefer upgrade.
