Thread table read only?

I've just been posting up a few of the random emails I get into my mail box (the sort of jokes and chain mail that everyone gets) onto my forums, when I started getting this error

Database error in vBulletin 3.6.0 Release Candidate 3:

MySQL Error : Table 'thread' is read only

I have no idea why this is, and when I ran repair and optimize tables it continued to say that my thread table is read only.

If anyone has any ideas on what or why, then I'd appreciate a bit of help with this.
